So what exactly are these exams for again? They help with neither knowledge or wisdom, unless you count the wisdom of knowing exams are worth nothing.

but you've planted the seeds of further knowledge that you can pluck from your brain later in a Pulitzer prize winning article two decades from now! (or whatever the journalistic equivalent to such an award is for the UK or australia) :-P
