The Bad: On-line applications. They are always set up awkwardly, making it difficult to show who you are, what you can do, and why you want to be there. Especially difficult for those of us who are foreigners. And worst of all, they force you to know the exact day that you started and finished jobs (which of course I don't know), so does that mean I shouldn't be able to apply to any of those positions? What is wrong with just emailing a covering letter and a CV? It certainly makes no sense to me.

The Good and the Bad
The Good: My first professional job interview, for the area I wanted and location. Sure, I had to re-arrange my travel arrangements and spend rather a lot on new flights, but it is a start. I just hope I either get the job or some very valuable interview experience and feedback.
